This page is for you, prospective patients, in simple language to explain some procedures we might encounter:

Root Canal Treatment

Tooth is hurting, broken or abscessed.  We confirm where it's coming from, clean out the content of the tooth, and fill the space.

 

Retreatment

You had a root canal before.  It's now hurting and bothering you.  Redoing the root canal often improves the symptoms so you could still save the tooth.

 

Apicoectomy (Surgical Root Canal Treatment)​

We remove the root tip of the tooth where the problem could be hiding.

 

Consultation

An appointment is set up to figure out what is going on.  We will take digital images and perform some tests to find out where the issue may be coming from.
